I really hope these ideas get passed along to USAWP. Any of these, as funny as they are, would do wonders to at least create buzz about our sport! Also, why is Australia/USC's Tilly Kearns the only water polo player who has a YouTube channel?! More of our athletes need to follow suit and create content to get the next generation excited about our sport, not just in a recreational setting/or a way to get to college, but as a way of life!
Yeah, I guess we just have low numbers in the sport. You'd think social would be a good way to support yourself as a side hustle. I wish USA water polo would create a prize or fellowship or something for the the best water polo influencer. $20k sponsorship or something. Get the kids making content
